ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A water removal arrangement is provided for a heated water vessel connected to a fresh water intake conduit. The arrangement includes a water removal fitting including a fitting body having a water outlet pipe, an inlet conduit connected with the water outlet pipe and adapted for con- nection with the heated water vessel, a compressed air conduit having first and second ends, and a push button mechanism connected to the first end of the compressed air conduit for compressing air therein when actuated. A switch operatively communicates with the second end of the com- pressed air conduit for switching states in response to the presence of compressed air in the compressed air conduit caused by actuation of the push button. A controllable valve is connected to the fresh water intake conduit for controlling fresh water intake into the heated water vessel. The switch is operatively connected to the controllable valve for controlling the valve to be in one of an opened or closed position in dependence on the state of the switch.
