A fibrous mat-faced cementitious article comprising (a) a cementitious core, and (b) a first fibrous mat comprising polymer or mineral fibers and a hydrophobic finish on at least one surface thereof, wherein the hydrophobic finish is in contact with the cementitious core, and a method of preparing a fibrous mat-faced cementitious article, as well as a method of preparing a water-resistant cementitious article comprising (a) preparing an aqueous siloxane dispersion, wherein the dispersion comprises about 4 wt.% to about 8 wt.% siloxane, (b) combining the siloxane dispersion with a cementitious mixture to provide a cementitious slurry, (c) depositing the cementitious slurry onto a substrate, and (d) allowing the cementitious slurry to harden, thereby providing a cementitious article.
L'invention porte sur un article cimentaire revêtu d'un mat fibreux, comprenant (a) un noyau cimentaire, et (b) un premier mat fibreux comprenant des fibres polymères ou minérales et une finition hydrophobe sur au moins une surface de celui-ci, la finition hydrophobe étant en contact avec le noyau cimentaire, et sur un procédé de préparation d'un article cimentaire revêtu d'un mat fibreux, ainsi que sur un procédé de fabrication d'un article cimentaire résistant à l'eau comprenant (a) la préparation d'une dispersion aqueuse de siloxane, la dispersion comprenant d'environ 4 % en poids à environ 8 % en poids de siloxane, (b) la combinaison de la dispersion de siloxane avec un mélange cimentaire pour fournir une pâte cimentaire, (c) le dépôt de la pâte cimentaire sur un substrat, et (d) le durcissement de la pâte cimentaire, donnant de ce fait un article cimentaire.
