A papermaking water system utilizing vacuum pump sealing water and having a zero sealing water discharge. A group of water seal vacuum pumps (1) are used in a papermaking machine to generate subatmospheric pressure in suction equipment (2) and thereby extract water from a wet paper web. During operation of the vacuum pumps (1), the sealing water is heated and the heated water is discharged to a cooling tower (6) to cool the water which is then recirculated to the vacuum pumps (1). Steam from a generating plant (13) is supplied to the dryer drums in the dryer section (15) of the papermaking machine, and the steam condensate is combined with the heated sealing water flowing to the cooling tower. By using steam condensate as makeup water, no ionic buildup will occur in the closed system, and high quality water is withdrawn from the closed system and may be used in other sections of the papermaking machine, so that there is no discharge of sealing water to the sewer system.
Cette invention se rapporte à un système d'eau pour la fabrication de papier, qui utilise de l'eau comme joints hydrauliques des pompes à vide et qui n'entraîne aucune décharge d'eaux usées de ces joints hydrauliques. A cet effet, un groupe de pompes à vide à joints hydrauliques (1) est employé dans une machine à papier, afin de générer une pression inférieure à la pression atmosphérique dans l'installation d'aspiration (2) et afin d'extraire ainsi l'eau provenant des bandes de papier humides. Pendant le fonctionnement des pompes à vide (1), l'eau des joints hydrauliques est chauffée et cette eau chauffée est déchargée dans une tour de refroidissement (6) qui refroidit l'eau, laquelle est ensuite remise en circulation dans les pompes à vide (1). La vapeur provenant d'un générateur de vapeur (13) est fournie aux tambours de séchage se trouvant dans la section de séchage (15) de la machine à papier et le condensat de vapeur est combiné avec l'eau des joints hydrauliques chauffée s'écoulant jusqu'à la tour de refroidissement. En utilisant ce condensat de vapeur comme eau d'appoint, aucune accumulation d'ions ne se produit dans le système fermé et une eau de haute qualité est retirée du système fermé et peut être utilisée dans d'autres sections de la machine à papier, de sorte qu'il n'y a aucune décharge d'eau des joints hydrauliques dans le système d'égouts.
