Abstract A water saving device is provided for use on a toilet. The device includes an inlet conduit connected to the bowl refill tube of the toilet tank. The inlet conduit delivers fresh water to a body portion which in turn directs the water to a pair of downwardly directed outlet conduits. The first outlet conduit has a narrow and constricted passage to deliver water more slowly through the tank's overflow tube, which subsequently drains into the toilet bowl. The second outlet conduit has a wider passage and drains a greater amount of the inlet water directly into the tank. The second outlet conduit supplements the conventional tank refill tube to fill the tank faster than on a toilet without the water saving device. Upon each flushing of the toilet, a significant amount of water is saved due to the branched and constricted flow of water to the toilet bowl.
