ABSTRACT A water-ski tow-rope handle also serving as a rope-caddy for the winding and storage of tow-rope, comprising: a normal water-ski handle, and at about each end of the handle, extensions of a suitable size and shape for winding the rope. The improvement consists of creating a new function for the handle, so it is not only used for pulling water-skiers, but also as a support for conveniently winding and storing the tow-rope. The improvement is created by placing extensions of appropriate size and shape near each end of the handle, said extensions serving as rope-guides for the winding of the rope. The handle thereupon serves three functions; (1) as a normal water-skiing handle, (2) as a device for spacing and supporting the rope- winding extensions, and (3) as a handle for using the caddy while winding rope. The water-ski tow-rope handle in toto thereby develops it's additional function as a rope-caddy for the water-ski tow-rope.
