Water-soluble azo compounds whose free acid forms are represented by the general formula (1); and ink compositions containing the same: [Chemical formula 1] (1) (wherein A is hydroxyl, morpholino, amino, an optionally substituted aliphatic amine residue, an optionally substituted aromatic amine residue, optionally substituted phenoxy, or optionally substituted alkoxy; R1 is hydrogen or alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms; R2 is hydrogen or a substituent selected from among halogeno, nitro, and hydroxyl; and n is an integer of 1 to 3). The azo compounds exhibit hues having such high clarity as to be suitable for inkjet recording, while the ink compositions are excellent in storage stability. The inkjet prints made by using the ink compositions are excellent in the fastnesses to moisture, ozone gas, light, and others.
La présente invention concerne des composés azoïques hydrosolubles dont les formes d~acide libre sont représentées par la formule générale (1) ; et des compositions d~encre contenant ces composés : [Formule chimique 1] (1) (A désigne un hydroxyle, un morpholino, un amino, un résidu amine aliphatique éventuellement substitué, un résidu amine aromatique éventuellement substitué, un phénoxy éventuellement substitué, ou un alkoxy éventuellement substitué ; R1 désigne un hydrogène ou un alkyle composé de 1 à 4 atomes de carbone ; R2 désigne un hydrogène ou un substituant sélectionné dans le groupe constitué par un halogéno, un nitro et un hydroxyle ; et n désigne un entier compris entre 1 et 3). Les composés azoïques présentent des nuances différentes ayant une transparence élevée de manière à convenir à une impression à jet d~encre, les compositions d~encre présentant une excellente stabilité de stockage. Les impressions à jet d~encre produites en utilisant des compositions d~encre présentent une excellente solidité à l~humidité, à l~ozone gazeux, à la lumière et à d~autres éléments.
