ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Novel ternary hydroxyethylhydxoxypropylmethyl- cellulose ethers are disclosed. These ethers have lower cloud points than most cellulose ethers having hydroxyethoxyl substitution and exhiblt return cloud points which are approximately the same as their cloud points.
