Stable, enzymatically triggered chemiluminescent 1,2-dioxetanes with improved water solubility and storage stability are provided as well as synthetic processes and intermediates used in their preparation. Dioxetanes further substituted with two or more water-solubilizing groups disposed on the dioxetane structure and an additional fluorine atom or lower alkyl group provide superior performance by eliminating the problem of reagent carryover when used in assays performed on capsule chemistry analytical systems. These dioxetanes display substantially improved stability on storage. Compositions comprising these dioxetanes, a non-polymeric cationic surfactant enhancer and optionally a fluorescer, for providing enhanced chemiluminescence are also provided.
La présente invention concerne d'une part, des 1-2 dioxétanes stables à excitation enzymatique de la chimiluminescence dont la solubilité dans l'eau et la stabilité au stockage sont améliorées et d'autre part, des procédés synthétiques et des produits intermédiaires utilisés dans leur préparation. En outre, des dioxétanes substituées avec deux ou plusieurs groupes solubilisants dans l'eau, disposés sur la structure de dioxétane et un atome de fluor supplémentaire ou un groupe alkyle inférieur, fournissant des performances supérieures en éliminant le problème d'entraînement de réactif lorsqu'on les utilise dans des analyses effectuées sur des systèmes analytiques chimiques encapsulés. Ces dioxétanes présentent une stabilité au stockage sensiblement améliorée. La présente invention concerne également des compositions comprenant lesdites dioxétanes, un amplificateur tensioactif cationique non polymère et éventuellement un agent fluorescent permettant d'améliorer la chimiluminescence.
