PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: Procédé pour le traitement d'eau en vue de sa cla- rification par injection d'une solution de polychlorure ferrique. Il consiste à injecter dans l'eau à traiter une solution de polychlorure ferrique dont la température est maintenue à une valeur au moins égale à 85°C. Installation, pour la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé, qui comporte un réac- teur maintenu à une température non inférieure à 85°C, réac- teur dans lequel s'opère la solution de polychlorure fer- rique à injecter, des moyens étant prévus pour soumettre la solution à une agitation énergique par voie mécanique ou hydrodynamique.
