ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a water turbine including a housing, a rotor and a water input duct disposed directly opposite thereto, whereby said rotor is impacted and made to rotate via driving members mounted thereon and thus energy may be taken off from the shaft of said rotor, the water input and rotor ducts together providing a circular or elliptical cross- section, said rotor having radially directed ribs.
