Cold sealable paper consisting of an actual support paper (1) comprising on the face side thereof at least one printing layer (2) and on the reverse side thereof a sealable layer (3), characterized in that it further has, on at least one of the two sides, face or reverse, a water vapour barrier layer (4) comprising a mixture of acrylic polymers as an emulsion, the total acid number of which is between 30 and 65, the mixture comprising at least 5 % by weight of wax.

L'invention concerne un papier scellable à froid à base d'un papier support réel (1) comprenant au moins une couche d'impression (2) sur son côté face, et sur son côté pile, une couche scellable (3). Ledit papier se caractérise en ce qu'il comprend en outre, sur au moins un des deux côtés, face ou pile, une couche étanche à la vapeur d'eau (4) comprenant un mélange de polymères acryliques sous forme d'émulsion, dont l'indice d'acidité totale est compris entre 30 et 65, ledit mélange comprenant au moins 5 % en poids de cire.
