The invention relates to a composite lining material for a garment or the like comprising a water resistant water-vapour-permeable flexible substrate (2) having a fabric (4) secured to a first side of the substrate (2). A second side of the substrate (2) is provided with an abrasion resisting discontinuous layer (10) made up of a plurality of discrete abrasion resisting polymeric dots (12). The dots (12) prevent abrasion of the flexible substrate (2) and, in use, form a lining for the material.

L'invention concerne un matériau de doublure composite destiné à un vêtement ou similaire, qui comprend un substrat souple (2) perméable à la vapeur d'eau, résistant à l'eau, portant un tissu (4) fixé sur un premier côté. Le second côté du substrat (2) porte une couche discontinue (10) résistante à l'abrasion, constituée d'une pluralité de pastilles polymères (12) discontinues résistantes à l'abrasion. Les pastilles (12) empêchent l'abrasion du substrat souple (2) et, en utilisation, constituent une doublure pour le matériau.
