A waterbed mattress system for boats and, in particular, a waterbed system for a boat (10) having a cabin at least partially below a deck (10) which includes a waterbed mattress (20). The mattress (20) can be filled from a body of water surrounding the boat (10) through the hull (11) of the boat (10) or from an internal or external supply through a series of tubes and a pump (25).
