ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Watering device for caged animals, especially mink. It comprises a pipe with water under pressure to be heated and a watering bowl connected to the pipe provided with a valve member to be activated by the animal and connect- ing the watering bowl to the pipe. It further comprises a separate sleeve-like intermediate member connectable to the water pipe, the upper wall of the sleeve being provided with a shallow watering bowl, the walls of which are surrounded by the sleeve material so as to provide a large heat conducting surface between the bottom of the watering bowl and the medium, which can be heated in the water pipe, and the bottom of which is provided with the valve member extending through the wall of the sleeve.
