A waterproof electric outlet is provided for outdoor installation and use with a plug of an electric appliance. In the waterproof electric outlet, a plurality of unit sockets are provided on an acting side of a receiving body, which has an upper portion formed with corresponding spaced-apart lugs. A pin passes through and thereby assembles together the lugs above each of the unit sockets, matching lugs formed on at least one cover, and a torsion spring received between corresponding ones of the lugs. The pivotally connected cover is provided therein with a water-absorbing material and a sealing ring. The plug can be conveniently inserted into the electric outlet for power supply after the cover is lifted up. When the electric outlet is idle, the cover on a front side of the electric outlet is constantly closed to prevent moisture from entering therein.
L'invention concerne une prise de courant électrique étanche pour une installation à l'extérieur et son utilisation sur la prise d'un appareil électrique. Dans cette invention, une série de supports est placée sur un côté actif du corps récepteur, qui comprend une partie supérieure formée avec les cosses espacées correspondantes. Une broche traverse le corps et rassemble les cosses au-dessus des supports individuels, les cosses correspondantes étant formées sur au moins une gaine; un ressort de torsion est placé entre l'une des cosses correspondantes. La gaine, raccordée à un pivot, comporte à son intérieur un matériau absorbant l'eau et une bague d'étanchéité. Le connecteur peut être inséré facilement dans une prise d'alimentation de courant après avoir soulevé le couvercle. Lorsque la prise électrique est inutilisée, le couvercle sur l'avant de la prise électrique est constamment fermé afin d'empêcher l'infiltration d'humidité.
