A waterproof screw fastener includes a metallic threaded shank which has a top end that is formed with an outwardly extending flat annular flange and two projections extending upwardly and outwardly from a top face of the flat annular flange. A plastic head completely encapsulates the flat annular flange and the projections. The plastic head has an upper head body, which has a lower end, and a lower skirt part, which extends radially, outwardly and then downwardly from the lower end of the upper head body. The lower skirt part has a rounded top bearing face and a bottom face which is rounded and concave to confine a recess about the threaded shank. A resilient sealing washer is sleeved onto the threaded shank and is received in the recess of the lower skirt part.
