22 TITLE WATERPROOF SEAL FOR GAUGES ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A gauge assembly which provides for waterproof connections such that the gauge remains compatible and interchangeable as a replacement part. The gauge has connectors extending through the cover of the gauge to which leads are soldered. The connections between the connectors and leads are surrounded by a potting shell dimensioned such that access to the gauge mounting flanges are not obstructed, and the shall is filled with potting compound such that the connections are firmly encased therein.
