Abstract of the disclosure The invention relates to water-soluble alkali salts of mono- and disulfonic acid derivatives and mono- and disulfonamide derivatives of 6,6'-methylene-bis- (2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline) and dimer and/or trimer condensation products thereof bound with a methylene bridge at the 8 or 8' position. The new compounds are radioprotective and radiosensibilizers at the same time, and may be used both in the therapy and prophylaxis of malignant tumours.
