A watthour meter socket adapter has a plurality of jaws mounted in a housing. At least certain of the jaw contacts include a flange receiving a threaded fastener for attaching a first external conductor to one jaw contact. A separate mounting post formed on each jaw contact receives a second electrical conductor. A rigid terminal clip is attached to each conductor extending from the jaw contacts and is movably mounted in a terminal collar.
