A wave power plant arranged to be placed on or in the sea or a lake in order to produce energy, comprising a fixed or floating structure and at least one floating body (1) that moves vertically relative to the floating structure and is connected to the structure via energy transmission devices (11). The floating body (1) is designed to be held in a fixed position during part of the wave induced motion of the body (1), thus to increase the recovery of energy from the waves. A method is also disclosed, in which the body (1) is held in a fixed position during part of the time it takes for a wave crest or trough to pass the body (1).
L'invention concerne une centrale houlomotrice conçue pour être placée dans ou sur une mer ou un lac pour produire de l'énergie. Cette centrale comprend une structure fixe ou flottante et au moins un élément flottant (1) qui se déplace verticalement relativement à la structure flottante, à laquelle il est relié par des dispositifs de transmission d'énergie (11). L'élément flottant (1) est conçu pour être maintenu en une position fixe durant une partie de son mouvement induit par la vague, augmentant ainsi la récupération de l'énergie à partir des vagues. L'invention concerne aussi un procédé selon lequel l'élément flottant (1) est maintenu en une position fixe durant une partie du temps nécessaire à une crête ou un creux de vague pour dépasser ledit élément (1).
