The wave motion signal transmission device according to the invention comprises two coupled distributed constant wave motion structures (310, 312) incorporating active means for the amplification of signals in transit in the form of linear and continuous components, namely a cathode (318), a control grid (320) receiving in E HF signals to be amplified and an anode (322) providing amplified signals in S. The invention concerns also applications of the device according to the invention, namely high-power and very broadband HF amplification and generation of electromagnetic pulses with very steep and long-lasting leading edge.
Le dispositif de transmission de signaux à propagation d'ondes selon l'invention comporte deux structures de propagation d'ondes à constantes réparties couplées (310, 312) dans lesquelles sont intégrés des moyens actifs d'amplification des signaux en transit sous la forme de composants linéaires et continus, notamment une cathode (318), une grille de commande (320) recevant en E des signaux HF à amplifier et une anode (322) délivrant en S des signaux amplifiés. L'invention concerne également des applications du dispositif selon l'invention, notamment l'amplification HF à forte puissance et à très large bande et la génération d'impulsions électromagnétiques à front de montée très raide et de longue durée.
