The present invention relates to a method and to an arrangement for aligning a waveguide connector (1) for physical contact with at least one optical device having at least one waveguide (15). The arrangement includes the waveguide connector (1) and a substrate (10) on which waveguides (15) are disposed. The waveguide connector (1) and the substrate (10) include aligning elements (2, 4). These aligning elements (2, 4) can be shaken into mutual engagement. The aligning elements are disposed so that when an optical device having an MT- interface is brought into contact with the waveguide connector (1), the waveguides (15) and the optical device will be in alignment with one another.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour aligner un connecteur (1) de guides d'ondes et l'amener en contact physique avec au moins un dispositif optique ayant au moins un guide d'ondes (15). Le dispositif comprend le connecteur (1) de guides d'ondes et également un substrat (10) sur lequel les guides d'ondes (15) sont placés. Le connecteur (1) de guides d'ondes et le substrat (10) comportent des éléments d'alignement (2, 4). Ces éléments d'alignement (2, 4) peuvent être mis en contact mutuel.
