he demultiplexer has a diffraction space (Ce) that is defined by a receiving surface (Ze) coupled to a network (R). In order to obtain output waves (Sk) with a flat spectral response, the entry guide (Ge) and the receiving surface (Ze) are sized so that the entry wave (e) will diffract on that surface (Zc) and display several secondary lobes. Applicable, in particular, to optical communications systems with wavelength-division multiplexing.
