Wax-based lubricant coatings for conveyors, and in particular for container transporting conveyors, are provided. The lubricant coatings provide conveyor surfaces having low coefficients of friction. In one embodiment, the lubricant coatings are composed of a mixture of carnauba wax and at least one additional wax. Conveyors having the lubricant coatings applied thereto are also provided.

L'invention concerne des revêtements lubrifiants à base de cire pour transporteurs et notamment pour des transporteurs de conteneurs. Ces revêtements lubrifiants permettent d'obtenir des surfaces de transporteur présentant des faibles coefficients de frottement. Dans un mode de réalisation, ces revêtements lubrifiants sont composés d'un mélange de cire de carnauba et d'au moins une cire supplémentaire. L'invention concerne également les transporteurs sur lesquels ces revêtements lubrifiants sont appliqués.
