ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Into a weakly acidic bath additive composition comprising a carbonate salt and an acid, a moisturizer is further incorporated. Typical examples of the moisturizer include organic acid salts such as sodium lactate; polyhydric alcohols such as propylene glycol; water-soluble polymers such as polyethylene glycol; and so on. The moisturizer functions to keep the carbon dioxide gas to stay in the bath, and thereby enhances the blood circulation promoting effect of the carbon dioxide gas.
