The present invention relates to a wearable aerosol delivery apparatus for releasing an aerosol with an active ingredient into an oral or nasal passage of a user. The apparatus comprises a housing comprising a first and a second surface, the first surface being adapted to be disposed against a wrist of the user, the housing defining a reservoir for containing the aerosol under pressure, an aerosol release mechanism connected with the reservoir for releasing a dose of the aerosol from the reservoir when actuated, and a fastener member attached to the housing to fasten the housing onto the user's wrist, whereby the apparatus is worn by the user and effective for delivering the active ingredient into the user's passage on demand.
La présente invention concerne un appareil distributeur d'aérosol portatif destiné à administrer un aérosol contenant un agent actif dans une voie orale ou nasale d'un utilisateur. L'appareil comprend un logement comportant des première et seconde surfaces, la première surface étant conçue afin de s'adapter à un poignet de l'utilisateur, et le logement définissant un réservoir contenant l'aérosol sous pression. Cet appareil comprend aussi un mécanisme de libération d'aérosol relié au réservoir permettant, lors de sa mise en oeuvre, de distribuer une dose d'aérosol, ainsi qu'un élément de fermeture attaché au logement, destiné à fixer le logement sur le poignet de l'utilisateur. Ainsi, l'appareil est porté par l'utilisateur et permet de distribuer un ingrédient actif, à la demande, dans une voie de l'utilisateur.
