A weather strip (30) to be mounted in the opening in a car body, wherein a partition wall (31) between a seal hollow chamber (7a) and a hollow chamber (8a) is formed such that at each position it always forms an opening angle (.theta.) of 90 degrees or more toward the outer side of the car body opening with respect to a load input direction (F) during the closing of the door panel (12). A hollow portion (6) is arranged so that it always exhibits substantially the same way it flexes irrespective of the direction of input during the closing of the door panel.
L'invention concerne une bande d'étanchéité (30) destinée à être montée dans une ouverture pratiquée dans la carrosserie d'une automobile. Ladite bande est caractérisée en ce qu'un élément (31) de séparation entre une chambre (7a) d'étanchéité creuse et une chambre creuse (8a) est réalisé de manière à former, en permanence et dans chaque position, un angle d'ouverture (.theta.) d'au moins 90 degrés en direction du côté extérieur de l'ouverture pratiquée dans la carrosserie de l'automobile par rapport au sens (F) d'entrée de la charge pendant la fermeture du panneau (12) de porte. Une partie creuse (6) est également disposée de manière à toujours se présenter de la même façon que lorsqu'elle se plie, indépendamment du sens d'entrée pendant la fermeture du panneau de porte.
