ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A weather strip to be attached along a door opening of a vehicle body has a main portion to be brought into pressure contact with a peripheral edge of the door frame or glass when the door is closed. An end portion of the main portion, is also simultaneously partially pressed by an end part of a door weather strip. The end portion has a thickness gradually decreasing toward its lower end. One section of the lower end portion, which is pressed by the end portion of the door weather strip is formed more thinly than that of the remainder and with a knife edge. When the door is closed, the thinner section is pressed by the end part of the door weather strip. No space is left between the vehicle body and the door weather strip and desirably sealing performance is obtained. The remainder thicker part of the end portion serves to rigidity and prevent the knife edge section from peeling away from the door opening.
