WEATHERPROOF ELECTRICAL SWITCH Abstract Equipment designed to be drip-proof is not necessarily capable of withstanding exposure to weather. Equipment designed to be submersible may be unduly heavy and rugged when it is merely required to withstand exposure to the weather. The present electrical equipment enclosure is such to permit opera- tion when exposed to the weather but at the same time is extremely light though rugged in its construction. Relatively light sheet steel is used to form the enclosure but by proper bending portions of the material a highly rigid structure is produced. At the same time some of the bends of the material are utilized to form a labyrinth seal between the door and the body of the enclosure.
