An outwardly opening storm door includes decorative concave female strips integral with each vertical stile and the top rail of the door, and which extend beyond the door edges. The female strip along the lock-side stile edge mates with a male convex strip attached along the adjacent side jamb and the female strip along the top rail edge mates with a male convex strip attached along the head rail. The female concave strip along the hinge- side stile mates with the butts of a continuous hinge along the hinge-side side jamb. The female concave strips cover the normal gaps between the door vertical edges and the jambs to prevent use of a pry bar to jimmy the lock, and also provide a decorative appearance. The female concave strips include weatherstripping that produces positive seals with the male convex strip and with the hinge butts for prevention of water intrusion. The concave strips also provide a decorative covering of the gaps between the door stiles and rail, and the door jambs to prevent jimmying of the door when locked.
