A Web application system (1) has, between a Web server (11) of processing servers (2, 2') and an application process (15), a shared memory (14) for recording therein information for session management and distributed management and a management server (12) for session management and distributed management for the processing servers according to the information so as to carry out session management and distributed management of the Web application system (1). In each of the processing servers (2, 2'), an operating module (42) for carrying out processings about the operation of the processing servers (2, 2') according to an instruction of each client (3) and a communication module (43) for starting up the operating module (42) upon receiving an instruction of the client (3) are provided, enabling the operation of the Web application system (1) by the client (3).
