A device (10) for detecting a web (18), the device (10) including a light source (22) adapted to emit light generally in the direction of the web (18); a lens (26) spaced apart from the light source (22) and adapted to receive light originating from the light source (12), the lens (16) having a radial index of refraction gradient; and an image sensor (30) aligned with the lens (26), the image sensor (30) adapted to receive light from the lens (26) and to convert the light to a signal. Also, a method for detecting a web, the method including emitting light from a light source; capturing light reflected by the web (18) with a lens having a radial index of refraction gradient; focusing the captured light on an image sensor; and converting the focused light to a signal. Also, a method for aligning two webs, wherein each web has a position, and a method for detecting an object.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif (10) de détection de bande (18). Ce dispositif (10) comprend, d'une part une source de lumière (22) conçue pour émettre la lumière dans le sens de la bande (18), d'autre part une lentille (26) maintenue à distance de la source de lumière (22), conçue pour recevoir la lumière provenant de la source de lumière (12) et présentant un gradient radial de l'indice de réfraction, et enfin un capteur d'image (30) dans l'alignement de la lentille (26) et conçu pour recevoir la lumière de la lentille (26) et la convertir en un signal. L'invention concerne également un procédé de détection d'une bande impliquant, d'une part d'émettre de la lumière depuis une source de lumière, d'autre part de capter la lumière renvoyée par la bande (18) en utilisant une lentille à gradient radial de l'indice de réfraction, puis à mettre au point la lumière captée sur un capteur d'image, et enfin de convertir en signal la lumière du foyer. L'invention concerne enfin un procédé de calage de deux bandes l'une sur l'autre, chaque bande ayant une position, ainsi qu'un procédé de détection d'un objet.
