A self-tracking roller (10) for centering conveyor belts and web materials (44) on conveyor systems having a guide wheel (30L, 30R) at each end of a centrally pivoting shaft (14) for contacting the belt or web(44). The self- tracking roller (10) pivots in the direction of travel of the belt or web (44) along the side that the guide wheel (30L, 30R) is contacted by the belt or web (44), and redirecting the belt or web (44) to a central or neutral position by the pivoting action of the roller (10).

Ledit rouleau (10) de suivi automatique pivote dans le sens de déplacement de la bande transporteuse ou du matériau en bande (44) le long du côté où la roue de guidage (30L, 30R) est en contact avec ladite bande transporteuse ou ledit matériau en bande (44), et réoriente cette bande transporteuse ou ce matériau en bande vers une position centrale neutre par pivotement du rouleau (10).
