ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A web tensioning system for controlling the web tension from a supply roll source comprising in combination; a pay-off supply roll having a drive motor, and a motor controller interconnected thereto, a film web extending from said supply roll through a multiple roller assembly downstream of said supply roll, said roller assembly comprising at least one idler roller, and a sensing roller, pressure transducers on said sensor roller, a conditioning circuit receptive to input signals from said pressure transducers, a control signal generated from said conditioning circuit to said motor controller in response to a film web tension value, a source of power for said motor controller, motor and said conditioning circuit, whereby the web tension on the sensing roller is used to control the drive motor.
Cette invention concerne un système de réglage de la tension d'une bande provenant d'un dévidoir. Il fait appel à un moteur d'entraînement du dévidoir, à un variateur de vitesse dudit moteur, à une série de tambours en amont du dévidoir, ladite série comportant au moins un tambour de renvoi et un tambour de détection équipé de capteurs de pression, à un circuit de traitement des signaux provenant des capteurs de pression, lequel circuit transmet au variateur de vitesse un signal proportionnel à la tension de la bande déroulée, et à une source d'alimentation des éléments précités. La commande du moteur d'entraînement du dévidoir est réglée en fonction de la tension exercée par la bande sur le tambour de détection.
