A webbing take-up device, comprising a clutch (100) having a gear wheel (116) and spring claws (182). The gear wheel (116) further comprises circumferential load receiving parts (120), and a load from the spring claws (182) acts on the gear wheel along the circumferential direction through the circumferential load receiving parts (120). Accordingly the size and weight of the clutch (100) can be reduced. Also, the clutch (100) comprises a ring (176) having a cover part (178) holding clutch components at specified installation positions and spring claws (182) formed integrally with each other. The ring (176) is integrally held on a rotor (124) by the elastic force of the spring claws (182). Thus, the clutch components can be temporarily held (sub-assembled) integrally with each other.
