ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A weighing apparatus is described which includes a weigh cell and power operated apparatus for moving or conveying items to be weighed across the weigh cell. Because many of the items to be weighed by such equipment deposit residue on the conveying table which passes over the weigh cell, means are provided for detachably securing the weigh table to the power means which drives the conveyor which carries the items to be processed across the weigh cell. As a result, the weigh table and its associated conveyor may be cleaned with out damage to the weigh cell or the power driving means.
