An electric heating element having a central conductor 10 and an outer metallic sheath 11 is welded to a base 13 of vessel 12 to provide a heating container, for hot water in a domestic appliance for example. In order to carry out the welding, the vessel 12 is heated up by an induction heater 14 to a certain temperature and the temperature of the actual contacting welding surfaces raised above the certain temperature to a fusing temperature by applying and controlling electric power supplied to the conductor 10 while the heating element is held firmly in position against the base 13.
La présente invention a pour objet un élément chauffant électrique comportant un conducteur central (10) entouré d'un blindage métallique (11) soudé à la base (13) d'un contenant (12) pour former une enceinte chauffante destinée aux applications de chauffe-eau domestique, par exemple. Pour effectuer le soudage, le contenant (12) est chauffé par un appareil chauffant à induction (14) jusqu'à une certaine température, et la température des surfaces à souder est élevée à une valeur supérieure jusqu'à une température de fusion par application et régulation d'une énergie électrique acheminée par le conducteur (10) pendant que l'appareil chauffant à induction est maintenu fermement en contact avec la base (13).
