A welding material assembly (12) is constructed and arranged to position a welding material (14) in electrically conductive relation between exterior surface portions of first and second weldable members (18, 22) at a location where the first and second weldable members (18, 22) are to be joined. The welding material assembly (12) includes at least one welding material member (14) mounted on flexible carrier sheet (16) in a predetermined arrangement with each welding material member (14) being constructed of an electrically conductive metallic welding material capable of melting when heated by application of an electrical current. Each welding material member (14) is mounted on the sheet (16) such that when the sheet (16) is placed between the exterior surfaces of the first and second weldable members (18, 22) to be welded, each welding material member (14) is electrically conductively disposed therebetween.
L'invention concerne un ensemble matériau de soudage (12) conçu et disposé pour positionner un matériau de soudage (14) en relation de conduction électrique entre les parties superficielles extérieures d'un premier et d'un second élément soudable (18, 22) au niveau d'un emplacement où ces derniers (18, 22) doivent être assemblés. Cet ensemble matériau de soudage (12) comprend au moins un élément de matériau de soudage (14) monté sur une bande de support flexible (16) dans un agencement prédéterminé, chaque élément de matériau de soudage (14) étant constitué d'un matériau de soudage métallique électroconducteur pouvant fondre lorsqu'il est chauffé par application d'un courant électrique. Chaque élément de matériau de soudage (14) est monté sur la bande (16) de façon que, lorsque celle-ci est placée entre les surfaces extérieures du premier et du second élément soudable (18, 22) à souder, chaque élément de matériau de soudage (14) soit disposé par électroconductivité entre lesdites surfaces extérieures.
