A method for performing oilfield operations for an oilfield having a subterranean formation with an underground reservoir therein, the oilfield being provided with at least one wellsite with oilfield equipment for extracting fluid from the underground reservoir, involving collecting data comprising trajectory and earth properties associated with a planned well for a geoscience application to obtain a geoscience model, invoking a well planning system integrated with the geoscience application, extracting the trajectory and earth properties from the geoscience model to obtain an extracted trajectory and extracted earth properties, determining at least one parameter for the planned well based on the extracted trajectory and the extracted earth properties, and displaying the at least one parameter associated with the planned well within a geological context of the geoscience application to allow refinement of the planned well for efficient fluid extraction from the underground reservoir.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de réalisation d'opérations de champ pétrolifère pour un champ pétrolifère comprenant une formation souterraine contenant un réservoir souterrain, le champ pétrolifère équipé d'au moins un chantier de forage avec un matériel de champ pétrolifère permettant l'extraction de fluide depuis le réservoir souterrain, comprenant la collecte de données comportant des propriétés de trajectoire et de terre associées à un puits planifié pour une application de modèle de science de la terre, l'invocation d'un système de planification de puits intégré avec l'application de science de la terre, l'extraction des propriétés de trajectoire et de terre à partir du modèle de science de la terre pour obtenir des propriétés d'une trajectoire extraite et de terre extraite, la détermination d'au moins un paramètre pour le puits planifié en fonction des propriétés de trajectoire extraite et de terre extraite, et l'affichage dudit au moins un paramètre associé au puits planifié dans un contexte géologique de l'application des science de la terre pour permettre l'affinement du puits planifié en vue d'une extraction efficace de fluide depuis le réservoir souterrain.
