A continuous well string injection unit, comprising a pair of motor driven continuous chains mounted opposed to each for gripping coiled rod between them. Plural links are connected end to end in each one of the pair of motor driven continuous chains, in which each link comprises a connected yoke and a neck, the neck of each link being sized to fit within the yoke of a succeeding link in the motor driven continuous chain with consecutive links connected by a pin extending through the neck of one link and the yoke of the next succeeding link. A method of injecting coiled rod into a well is also provided.
Une unité d'injection de train de tiges de puits, comportant une paire de chaînes continues commandées par moteur montées opposées pour pincer une tige en couronne entre elles. Plusieurs liens sont reliés de bout en bout dans chacune des paires de chaînes continues commandées par moteur, dans lesquelles chaque lien comporte une manille et un col relié, le col de chaque lien étant dimensionné de manière à correspondre à la manille d'un lien suivant de la chaîne continue commandée par moteur avec des liens consécutifs reliés à l'aide d'une broche qui s'étend à travers le col d'un lien et la manille du lien suivant. Une méthode d'injection d'une tige en couronne dans un puits est également fournie.
