A wellhead system, connector, and method of assembling a wellhead system utilizes a connector which includes a set of left-hand threads and a set of right-hand threads, in particular, the application discloses a wellhead system comprising tubing head (501); a tubing hanger (511) disposing the bore of the tubing head; at least one casing head (521); a casing hanger (531) disposed in the bore of at least one casing head; and at. least one connector (541) which releasably connects the tubing head to the at least one casing head, the at least one connector including a set of lefthand threads and a set of righthand threads.
