The container base includes a bottom (28) and a front wall (30), a rear wall (32) and a pair of opposed side walls (34, 36) that extend upwardly from the bottom to provide an interior (38) for containing the wet wipes. At least one of the walls has a plurality of generally linear ribs (100) formed therein.
