WETTED HEATED INTERNALLY CONFORMABLE SURFACE FUSER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A thermal fusing apparatus comprising a heated member which contacts toner images electrostatically adhered to a substrate to thereby soften the toner to cause the particles to coalesce with subsequent cooling thereof to effect bonding thereof to the substrate. The heated member comprises a conformable material such as silicone rubber and has release material such as silicone oil continuously applied thereto.
