ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Apparatus for use in aligning a vehicle wheel positioned thereon comprising: a base plate having a first recess including an aperture extending therethrough; an upper plate overlying said base plate; a bearing plate disposed within said first recess for supporting said upper plate for permitting smooth movement of said upper plate relative said base plate; a pointer disposed below said base plate; and a connecting structure extending through said aperture for connecting said pointer to said upper plate.
