A wheel assembly designed to be adhesively attached to an article. The assembly includes a mounting plate having an upper surface with an adhesive layer and a peel-away protective cover. The cover is designed to be removed to reveal the underlying adhesive layer. The mounting plate further includes a center portion and side portions which are pivotal relative to each other to enable the mounting plate to be adhesively attached to adjacent surfaces of the article. A pair of legs are formed in one piece with the mounting plate or with a swivel plate which is pivotally attached to the bottom of the mounting plate. The legs extend away from the bottom surface of the mounting plate or swivel plate to define a wheel channel. A wheel is rotatably supported on an axle at least partially within the channel to provide support and mobility for the article.

Roulette à coller sous un objet pour le rendre mobile et comportant une plaque support dont la face supérieure est enduite d'une couche d'adhésif puis recouverte d'une pellicule de protection pelable, ladite plaque support étant divisée en une partie centrale et deux parties latérales rabattables de manière qu'elle puisse être collée à des surfaces contiguës de l'objet. Une paire de pattes définissant un passage pour la roulette proprement dite est formée à même la plaque support, sur sa face inférieure, ou à même une plaque de pivotement articulée à la face inférieure de la plaque support. La roulette est montée sur un axe entre les deux pattes, de manière qu'elle soit au moins partiellement logée dans l'espace défini par ces dernières.
