In order to increase the diameter of the standardized rim (J') comprising a mounting groove and normally used for a tubeless tyre (P) and provided with beads whose seats are angled, the tyre (P) is mounted on a rim (J) having a cylindrical rim bottom deprived of any groove and whose diameter is larger than the diameter of the groove of the rim (J'), by means of two vulcanized rubber adapters (S1) resisting compression and reinforced with meridian and circumferential elements. Primary application for wheel and tyre assemblies in trucks, with single or twin wheels, using rims with 15 DEG seats.
Afin de pouvoir augmenter le diamètre de la jante de service (J) d'un pneumatique (P) sans chambre à air indépendante, muni de bourrelets dont les sièges sont tronconiques, et normalement utilisé sur une jante (J') normalisée comprenant une gorge de montage, le pneumatique (P) est monté sur la jante (J), ayant un fond de jante cylindrique démuni de toute gorge et dont le diamètre (.PHI. JS) est supérieur au diamètre de 1a gorge de la jante (J'), au moyen de deux adaptateurs (S1, S2) en caoutchouc vulcanisé résistant à la compression et renforcé d'éléments méridiens et circonférentiels. Application première pour les ensembles roulants "Poids Lourds", en simple ou en jumelés, utilisant des jantes à sièges 15°.
