The wheel is in the form of a roller, extending across the width of the toy vehicle. To form the wheel, a tire of foam or sponge is secured around a rigid tube of plastic. Hub-disks fit into the ends of the rigid tube, and carry a spindle. The spindle is housed between two arms of the frame of the vehicle.
