The invention relates to a wheel bearing (1) with a sensor (15) for measuring rotational or angular movements of a wheel of a motor vehicle, with a wheel bearing flange (2) and a roller bearing (4) attached thereto, on whose peripheral inner ring (7) an encoder ring (9) serving as transducer is arranged. The intention is to ensure a reliable operating mode even under the influence of dirt and rust and to be able to attach and detach the wheel bearing (1) with ease. To this end, the sensor (15) is attached parallel to its radial reading direction (24) on a radial contact face (23), pointing to the plane of the encoder ring (9), of the wheel bearing flange (2). Furthermore, a sheet-metal part (16) is fitted on the fixed outer ring (6) of the roller bearing (4), which sheet-metal part (16) covers at least the reading area of the sensor (15) and the encoder ring (9) and serves, in circumferential terms, as contact face for the sensor (15).
L'invention concerne un palier de roue (1) doté d'un détecteur (15) qui mesure les déplacements de rotation ou les déplacements angulaires d'une roue d'un véhicule automobile. Le palier comprend une bride (2) de palier de roue à laquelle est fixé un palier de roulement (4) sur la bague intérieure périphérique (7) duquel est disposée une bague d'encodage (9) qui sert de générateur de valeurs de mesure. L'invention permet un fonctionnement sûr même sous l'influence d'encrassements et de la rouille et le montage et le démontage aisés du palier de roue (1). Dans ce but, le détecteur (15) est monté parallèlement à sa direction radiale de lecture (24) sur une surface radiale d'appui (23) tournée vers le plan de la bague d'encodage (9) de la bride (2) du palier de roue. En outre, une pièce de tôle (16) qui sert de surface d'appui périphérique pour le détecteur (15) est placée sur la bague extérieure fixe (6) du palier de roulement (4) et recouvre au moins la zone de lecture du détecteur (15) et la bague d'encodage (9).
