-Cycle. - The rim is characterized by the fact that it comprises at least two adjacent chambers (2, 3) having a common wall (4) and each having a core (5, 7) made of structural foam material and a rigid envelope (6 or 8) made of impregnated and polymerized synthetic fibre composite textiles tightly enclosing the core, one of the chambers constituting the body of the rim and the other forming an outer rim profile upon which a solid tire can be fitted. Application to competition cycle wheels.
