A wheel suspension for mounting in a chassis of a working machine, said wheel suspension comprising a drive axle, a wheel and a hub device, said hub device comprising a first hub unit, which is stationary in the axial direction of the wheel suspension and connected to said axle, and a second hub unit, which is connected to the wheel, said second hub unit being adapt-ed to be displaced in the axial direction of the wheel suspension relative to the first hub unit for altering the axial position of the wheel relative to the first hub unit, wherein the hub device also comprises an actuator for controlled actuation of the second hub unit to bring about said displacement. According to the invention, the actuator comprises a hydraulic cylinder (51), which is ar-ranged inside a protecting and supporting means (52) for absorbing forces or force components in the radial direction of the hy-draulic cylinder, said protecting and supporting means comprising a first supporting sleeve (53), which is adapted to be connected to the chassis, and a second supporting sleeve (54), which is directly or indirectly connected to the second hub unit, said support-ing sleeves being telescopically arranged within each other for enabling a telescopic movement between the supporting sleeves.
La présente invention se rapporte à une suspension de roue à monter dans un châssis d'une machine de travail, ladite suspension de roue comprenant un essieu moteur, une roue et un dispositif de moyeu, ledit dispositif de moyeu comprenant une première unité de moyeu, qui est fixe dans la direction axiale de la suspension de roue et reliée audit essieu, et une seconde unité de moyeu, qui est reliée à la roue, ladite seconde unité de moyeu étant conçue pour être déplacée dans la direction axiale de la suspension de roue par rapport à la première unité de moyeu pour modifier la position axiale de la roue par rapport à la première unité de moyeu. Le dispositif de moyeu comprend également un actionneur pour l'actionnement commandé de la seconde unité de moyeu afin de provoquer ledit déplacement. Selon l'invention, l'actionneur comprend un cylindre hydraulique (51), qui est placé à l'intérieur d'un moyen de protection et de support (52) destiné à absorber les forces ou les composantes de force dans direction radiale du cylindre hydraulique, ledit moyen de protection et de support comprenant un premier manchon de support (53), qui est conçu pour être relié au châssis, et un second manchon de support (54), qui est relié directement ou indirectement à la seconde unité de moyeu, lesdits manchons de support étant placés de manière télescopique l'un dans l'autre pour permettre un déplacement télescopique entre les manchons de support.
